How to Control RGB Lighting with ASUS Armoury Crate (Aura Sync)Updated 11 days ago

ASUS Armoury Crate is the central hub for controlling your ASUS components. The lighting control section is called Aura Sync.

  1. Open Armoury Crate: Find the Armoury Crate icon on your desktop or in the Windows Start Menu and launch the application.

  2. Navigate to Aura Sync: On the left-hand menu, click on the "Aura Sync" tab. You will see a list of all your compatible RGB components (motherboard, RAM, fans, etc.).

  3. Select Devices: By default, all devices should be linked together. You can choose to sync them all for a uniform look or select individual components to customize them separately.

  4. Choose Your Effect: In the main window, you'll see a list of "Aura Effects." Here you can choose from various presets like:

    • Static: Pick a single, solid color.

    • Breathing: Gently fades one color in and out.

    • Rainbow: A classic effect that cycles through all the colors.

    • Strobing: Flashes your chosen color.

  5. Customize the Effect: Once you select an effect, you can further customize it by choosing specific colors from the color wheel, adjusting the brightness, and changing the speed of the effect.

If you have any trouble, ensure Armoury Crate is up to date by checking the "Update Center" within the software's settings.
